This whip contains 60 High Output Dice Style LED's mounted on solid state circuit boards. This new technology has no fragile glass, no filaments to break, and is resistant to weather, vibration and shock impact. This whip is designed to be easily wired into your 12 volt system. A standard threaded quick disconnect or supplied nickel plated RCA jack is all that is needed for easy installation. The lifespan of our LED's are 50,000 to 100,000 hours. This equates to 6 to 11 years of continuous use from this product. Power consumption is an incredibly low 600 milliamps, that's .6 of 1 amp. To insure that our whip performed as well as the Hi Tec LED boards, we selected 1/8” wall lexan tubing. This provided increased resistance to flexing while still maintaining a 6' shaft length. For the finishing touch, we had our bases custom machined out of 316 stainless steel for ultimate strength and weather resistance.

We could have lowered our costs by using fewer, less expensive LED's, but in our opinion that defeats the purpose of running a lighted whip. The Live Wire Whip with 60 Hi output LED's can be seen at night up to 2 miles away!! This has made our night time riding much more enjoyable. My wife can spot and identify our children and members of our group with just a quick scan of the horizon. It is also much easier to spot your group if you get separated or in the event of a breakdown. With the low current draw of a Live Wire Whip, it can be left on for hours and have no effect on battery reserves.

We went thru several prototypes and many hours of product testing to insure our customers a quality product and a much needed piece of safety equipment. As an added bonus, we were left with a fresh, playful, and innovative lighting system. This provides the show piece lighting solution you are looking to achieve.
